In this role, you won't just be designing circuits; you will be engineering the resilient power systems that drive modern industry and sustainable infrastructure.

We pride ourselves on a culture of technical excellence and innovation. As a lead engineer, you will bridge the gap between conceptual theory and tangible impact, overseeing the full lifecycle of complex electrical projects from initial feasibility studies to final commissioning. If you are a licensed professional with a passion for high-voltage systems and renewable integration, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of comprehensive electrical power distribution systems for large-scale industrial facilities.
  • Perform advanced power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash analysis using ETAP or SKM.
  • Manage the technical specifications and procurement support for high-voltage equipment like transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.
  • Integrate renewable energy sources and battery energy storage systems (BESS) into existing grid architectures.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff, providing technical oversight and ensuring rigorous adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with NEC/IEEE standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to troubleshoot complex electrical failures and oversee system commissioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain via comity).
  • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and power analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower).
  • In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar engineering projects in the energy or industrial sector.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical clients.
