Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical power distribution systems, including high-voltage transmission and distribution networks.
- Conduct comprehensive load flow studies, short-circuit analyses, and harmonic filtering to ensure system reliability and stability.
- Oversee the R&D phase for next-generation smart grid technologies and renewable energy integration solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for internal and client review.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in power system engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, project managers, and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems design, specifically within the renewable energy or utility sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as ETAP, PSS/E, AutoCAD Electrical, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards (IEEE 1547, IEEE 1366) and NERC CIP compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
