You will be responsible for leading the architecture of our proprietary power management systems, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of high-voltage power electronics and DC/DC converters.
- Utilize industry-standard tools (Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink) to create schematic captures and PCB layouts.
- Conduct rigorous thermal and electrical analysis to ensure product reliability under varying environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical engineers, firmware developers) to integrate electrical systems into complete product assemblies.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards (UL, IEC, IEEE) and regulatory requirements.
- Drive root cause analysis for hardware failures and implement robust engineering solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex circuit design challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) required; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in power electronics, circuit design, or embedded systems hardware.
- Proven experience with analog and digital circuit design, including microcontrollers and power management ICs.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (SPICE, PSpice) and PCB design software.
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI standards and signal integrity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
