Responsibilities
- Design and oversee electrical systems for utility-scale energy storage and distribution networks.
- Perform comprehensive power systems analysis, including load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable hardware with existing grid architectures.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local utility regulations during the full project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews to maintain premium quality standards.
- Develop innovative automation strategies to improve system reliability and energy throughput.
- Manage technical documentation, specifications, and project reporting for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems or industrial automation.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Deep proficiency in ETAP, SKM, or AutoCAD Electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of high-voltage distribution, transformer design, and protective relaying.
- Proven ability to manage technical project timelines and communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainable technologies.
