Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical power systems, including low and medium-voltage distribution.
- Perform comprehensive load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies using industry-standard software (ETAP/SKM).
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for industrial projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and local regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous technical peer reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Develop innovative strategies to improve energy efficiency and implement sustainable electrical infrastructure designs.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning processes to ensure system integrity and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design or power systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of California is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM/CAD design software is essential.
- Deep working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities to manage stakeholders and team dynamics.
