Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks, ensuring compliance with IEEE standards.
- Analysis & Simulation: Utilize advanced simulation software (ETAP, PSpice) to perform power flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and load flow calculations to optimize system performance.
- Project Management: Oversee project milestones, manage vendor relationships, and mentor junior engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables.
- Compliance & Safety: Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to guarantee all electrical designs meet local and international safety regulations.
- Documentation: Create detailed schematics, technical specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree in Power Systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical power systems design and project execution.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or PLC programming.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
