Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, simulation, and prototyping of complex electrical power systems and control circuits.
- Conduct detailed electrical analysis using tools such as PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, and AutoCAD Electrical to validate system performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to define technical requirements.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international electrical codes (NEC, IEC) and safety standards.
- Oversee the troubleshooting of electrical systems and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and system manuals.
- Participate in the design review process to identify potential risks and optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical system design, preferably within the renewable energy or industrial automation sector.
- Strong proficiency in circuit analysis software (e.g., PSpice, LTSpice, Ansys) and CAD tools.
- Experience with PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and SCADA systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder presentations.
