Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the development of complex electrical power distribution systems.
- Conduct detailed simulations and load flow analysis using ETAP or SKM software.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building codes for all project deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams during the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
- Troubleshoot critical hardware failures and implement robust root-cause corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate rigorous technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with clients to define project specifications and optimize system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in industrial or commercial power systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License or EIT with a clear path to licensure is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and power systems analysis software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of low and medium-voltage distribution system design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects under tight deadlines.
