Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle design of high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial projects.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and bill of materials using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform comprehensive load analysis, arc-flash studies, and short-circuit calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy storage systems into existing infrastructure.
- Oversee on-site testing, commissioning, and validation processes to ensure strict adherence to NEC and IEEE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous peer reviews of technical documentation.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Deep proficiency in ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar electrical simulation software.
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
