Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex electrical power distribution systems for commercial and utility-scale projects.
- Perform detailed load calculations, fault studies, and coordination analysis using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead the development of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and detailed equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy storage solutions into existing grid architecture.
- Oversee technical compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to ensure project excellence.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee site commissioning and system performance testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower).
- Deep understanding of medium and high-voltage power distribution.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under strict deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders.
