Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of medium and high-voltage power distribution systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to execute large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects.
- Conduct rigorous system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local municipal regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Coordinate with procurement and field operations to ensure project timelines and quality specifications are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial electrical design.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software: AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or Revit.
- Comprehensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E requirements.
- Proven track record in renewable energy or microgrid project management.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and technical communication skills.
