Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the development of complex electrical power distribution and storage systems.
- Lead schematic capture and PCB layout processes for high-power industrial applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and firmware with physical hardware components.
- Perform rigorous thermal analysis, signal integrity checks, and power simulation testing.
- Ensure all designs meet stringent international safety and environmental compliance standards (UL, IEC, IEEE).
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct detailed design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Liaise with manufacturing partners to oversee prototyping, testing, and mass-production ramp-up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in power electronics or energy systems.
- Expert proficiency with EDA software tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence OrCAD.
- Demonstrated experience in high-voltage PCB design and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Strong understanding of battery management systems (BMS) and power conversion topologies.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business goals.
