Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive electrical power distribution systems for commercial and utility-scale projects.
- Conduct load flow analysis, short circuit, and coordination studies using ETAP or SKM software.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning process, ensuring strict adherence to NEC and IEEE standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery storage and smart grid technology.
- Lead technical reviews and provide mentorship to junior electrical engineering staff.
- Manage project documentation, including single-line diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, and schematic design sets.
- Liaise with clients and municipal authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and project permit approval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, NESC, and NFPA 70E requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within tight deadlines.
