Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of complex analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for high-performance embedded systems.
- Develop detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and fabrication packages using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
- Perform comprehensive electrical testing, debugging, and verification of prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards (EMI/EMC).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and firmware engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define and implement rigorous testing methodologies, create test plans, and analyze results to optimize product performance and reliability.
- Manage component selection, engage with suppliers, and ensure robust supply chain considerations for new designs.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and manufacturing instructions thoroughly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design and development, preferably in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Expertise in analog circuit design (e.g., power management, signal conditioning, sensor interfaces) and high-speed digital design (e.g., microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces).
- Proficiency with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC principles and design for compliance.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers) for troubleshooting and validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
