Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and prototyping of complex electrical systems and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, schematic capture, layout, and testing.
- Analyze power consumption and efficiency to optimize system performance and reduce energy waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical engineers, firmware developers) to integrate electrical components into full systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, IEC) and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in circuit design and signal integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, preferably in power electronics or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in schematic capture (Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Cadence) and PCB layout tools.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC power supplies, motor control, and embedded systems.
- Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or SPICE.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations for electrical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex circuit issues.
