VoltEdge Technologies is seeking a visionary Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Silicon Valley R&D center. In this role, you will lead the design and optimization of mission-critical power conversion hardware that powers the next generation of sustainable infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of high-speed digital design and robust power electronics, tackling complex electromagnetic challenges in a collaborative, high-growth environment. This is a premium opportunity for a technical leader looking to influence product roadmap from concept to global deployment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex multi-layer PCB assemblies for high-density power conversion systems.
- Lead the selection and validation of critical components, ensuring optimal thermal and electrical performance.
- Perform high-fidelity signal and power integrity simulations using industry-standard tools like Altium and Ansys.
- Direct the end-to-end prototyping process, from initial schematic capture to mass production handoff.
- Develop and execute comprehensive EMI/EMC mitigation strategies to achieve global regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, UL).
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system-level integration and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or Analog Design.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in hardware development for industrial or consumer electronics.
- Expert-level proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro for complex PCB layouts.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing high-volume hardware products to market.
- Deep understanding of switching power supply topologies (Buck, Boost, LLC, Flyback) and magnetic design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and design for manufacturability (DFM).
