Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems for industrial applications.
- Perform detailed load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis using ETAP or SKM software.
- Oversee the creation of comprehensive electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring schedules.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional project teams.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Lead field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of power systems to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure all designs adhere to NEC, IEEE, and NFPA safety and performance codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of California is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in industrial power systems, control panels, or related electrical infrastructure.
- Deep proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD Electrical and Revit MEP.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC/NFPA regulations and international electrical standards.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on project lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical presentations and client consultations.
