Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive electrical systems including power distribution, control panels, and automation architectures.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical projects, from initial feasibility studies to final commissioning.
- Conduct rigorous system testing and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards.
- Collaborate with CAD designers to finalize schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout blueprints.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on complex hardware integration tasks.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of critical electrical components.
- Perform arc flash analysis and short-circuit studies to ensure facility safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent required; PE license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in industrial electrical systems design.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or EPLAN.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI development.
- Deep understanding of low and medium voltage power distribution systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of meeting strict project deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
