Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical power distribution systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
- Conduct comprehensive load flow, short circuit, and arc flash hazard analysis using industry-standard software (ETAP, SKM).
- Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating with mechanical, civil, and software engineers.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, national, and international safety codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE).
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
- Prepare detailed specifications, calculations, and technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical design and project management.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP/PSS/E software.
- Strong understanding of power generation, transmission, and distribution concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
