Responsibilities
- Design and document complex electrical schematics, PCBs, and system-level power distribution architectures.
- Lead the transition from conceptual prototyping to high-volume manufacturing with focus on DFM and DFT.
- Execute rigorous simulations and validation testing using advanced SPICE modeling and thermal analysis tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded software with hardware control circuits.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct comprehensive peer reviews of electrical designs.
- Ensure compliance with international safety standards (UL, CE, IEC) for all developed hardware.
- Manage vendor relationships and technical specifications for critical electrical components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
- 5+ years of experience in electrical system design and hardware development.
- Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar ECAD platforms.
- Deep understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a demonstrated ability to debug complex circuit board issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and cross-departmental coordination.
