Responsibilities
- Design and simulate complex electrical power systems using industry-standard modeling software.
- Lead the development and integration of automation control systems for grid stability.
- Perform comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and verification of high-voltage components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources into existing infrastructures.
- Ensure all project designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local safety regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Draft detailed technical documentation, specifications, and project status reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools.
- Strong understanding of grid connectivity, SCADA systems, and industrial PLC protocols.
- Active PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly desirable.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a focus on mission-critical system reliability.
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of cross-departmental collaboration.
