Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of medium-to-high voltage power distribution systems.
- Develop and maintain PLC and SCADA architecture for industrial automation environments.
- Perform rigorous load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and arc flash studies.
- Oversee technical compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards across all project phases.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and conduct peer reviews for design documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and onsite contractors to ensure design specifications are met within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design and systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar simulation software.
- Deep understanding of industrial control systems, VFDs, and protective relaying.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and stakeholder needs.
