Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of complex power distribution systems for utility-scale projects.
- Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash studies using ETAP or SKM software.
- Oversee technical compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NESC standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy storage solutions.
- Manage project documentation, including single-line diagrams and equipment specifications.
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide engineering support during the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical power systems design and industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and power analysis software (ETAP/SKM/EasyPower).
- In-depth knowledge of medium and low voltage distribution equipment.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent project management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills for client-facing and team-leadership roles.
