Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and simulate complex electrical power systems using industry-standard modeling software.
- Lead technical reviews for schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on system failures and implement robust design improvements.
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineering teams for seamless hardware-software integration.
- Oversee prototype testing and validation phases, ensuring compliance with UL, CE, and IEEE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in circuit design and safety protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design automation and workflow optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in power electronics or industrial power systems.
- Expertise in Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar PCB design platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of power conversion, control theory, and embedded hardware interfaces.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply international safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
