Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of high-voltage power distribution systems for utility-scale energy projects.
- Conduct advanced circuit simulations using ETAP and SKM to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams in the development of electrical schematics and control panel designs.
- Perform root-cause analysis on power failures and implement preventative engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure strict adherence to NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards.
- Develop technical documentation, procurement specifications, and project estimation reports.
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices for PCB design and embedded system integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in power systems, industrial controls, or renewable energy sectors.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or similar CAD software suites.
- Strong understanding of grid interconnection standards and protective relaying coordination.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data for stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under strict deadlines.
