We are seeking a visionary Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation power conversion systems at Apex Innovations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical engineering concepts and commercial applications, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to our global clientele.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power electronics and circuitry, including schematics and PCB layouts.
- Conduct thorough simulation, analysis, and prototyping to validate designs before mass production.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including thermal analysis, stress testing, and reliability validation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices in engineering documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables within budget constraints.
- Stay current with industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE) and emerging technologies in power management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree in a related field required; PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics, power systems, or embedded hardware design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCad.
- Strong understanding of circuit theory, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Experience with thermal management strategies and reliability testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
