Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-voltage electrical power systems and distribution networks.
- Conduct detailed load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and fault investigations.
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with local, state, and national codes (NEC, NFPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Prepare technical specifications, schematics, and blueprints for engineering projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in power systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical) and simulation tools (MATLAB, ETAP).
- Strong understanding of renewable energy integration and grid operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and experience leading technical meetings.
