Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex electrical power systems, including high-voltage distribution, renewable energy integration, and control logic.
- Simulation & Modeling: Utilize industry-standard software (MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice) to model system performance, analyze loads, and perform reliability studies.
- Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles from conception through to commissioning, ensuring milestones are met within budget and timeline constraints.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to NEC, IEC, and IEEE safety standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into larger product ecosystems.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and provide technical guidance to the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Master’s degree (MSEE) with a focus on Power Systems or Power Electronics.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the power generation or renewable energy sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in circuit analysis, power electronics, and familiarity with PLCs or SCADA systems.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN) and simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
