Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex civil infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and drainage systems
- Lead multidisciplinary teams from conceptualization through construction phase
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (TxDOT, FEMA, etc.)
- Utilize BIM/CIM technologies for 3D modeling and clash detection
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical analysis
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Mentor junior engineers and implement quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in transportation or structural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated success with large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and permitting processes
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and client management skills
