Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power electronics for solar inverters and energy storage systems
- Perform SPICE simulations and thermal analysis for circuit validation
- Create detailed PCB layouts using Altium Designer with EMI/EMC compliance
- Lead prototype testing and failure analysis in ISO-certified labs
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers for thermal management solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Generate technical documentation and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Strong background in AC/DC conversion and grid-tied systems
- Familiarity with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Certification in PCB design or power electronics (PE preferred)
