Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and simulation of high-voltage power systems and circuit architectures.
- Develop and optimize power converters, inverters, and motor control systems for automotive and industrial applications.
- Conduct thorough electrical testing, failure analysis, and validation of prototypes to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and product) to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, and test reports for regulatory submission.
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs to ensure best practices and safety compliance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in power electronics, renewable energy, and semiconductor technology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or Ph.D. preferred; Bachelor’s degree (BSEE) required with significant relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in power electronics, high-voltage systems, or motor control.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or PSpice.
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards and electrical safety codes.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontroller programming (C/C++).
- Experience with simulation software like MATLAB/Simulink or Ansys Maxwell.
- P.E. License is a strong plus.
