Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of complex power distribution systems for large-scale industrial and commercial facilities.
- Conduct detailed power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and coordination analysis using ETAP or SKM.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams through the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to final commissioning.
- Perform technical reviews of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building code standards throughout all design phases.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scopes, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and review technical documentation to maintain high quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent required; Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Expert-level proficiency in power systems analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower).
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to technical excellence and teamwork.
- Experience with renewable energy systems or microgrid design is a significant plus.
