Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize hydrocarbon recovery
- Analyze production data to identify enhancement opportunities and recommend strategic interventions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans and well completion strategies
- Conduct economic evaluations for drilling programs and facility upgrades
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (SPE, API) and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional reservoirs
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus) and data analytics tools
- Proven track record in field development planning and production optimization
- Strong knowledge of well completions, hydraulic fracturing, and artificial lift systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
