Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex site grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure systems.
- Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with municipal agencies, permitting boards, and stakeholders to secure project approvals.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure alignment with design plans and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in site civil design and infrastructure project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and StormCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of local Houston municipal codes and environmental permitting requirements.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on sustainable engineering practices.
