Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects (transportation, water resources, structural)
- Perform advanced hydraulic modeling and structural analysis using industry-standard software
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, environmental scientists, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with TxDOT, FEMA, and international building codes
- Develop cost-effective solutions for geotechnical challenges and material optimization
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design
- PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record on projects exceeding $50M in value
- Strong knowledge of LEED and sustainable design principles
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
- Experience with FEMA floodplain modeling and coastal resilience projects
