Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to maximize hydrocarbon recovery
- Lead drilling program optimization using real-time data analytics and directional drilling techniques
- Develop production enhancement strategies for unconventional shale plays
- Conduct economic feasibility studies and field development planning
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional technical reviews
- Ensure compliance with API standards and environmental regulations
- Integrate digital technologies (IoT, AI) into field operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, Nexus)
- Deep expertise in hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling
- Strong analytical skills with production data interpretation
- Proven project leadership in complex field developments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with carbon capture & storage technologies highly valued
