Responsibilities
- Design and document comprehensive electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for complex power systems.
- Conduct rigorous system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical prototypes to ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and firmware teams to optimize system performance and thermal constraints.
- Perform detailed power analysis, including load calculations, short-circuit studies, and protection coordination.
- Oversee the procurement and integration of high-voltage components, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgetary requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence across the department.
- Support field deployment and site commissioning of large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Deep proficiency with CAD software such as Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical, or EPLAN.
- Solid understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, and UL certification requirements.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept through to final deployment.
- Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or ETAP is highly preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
