Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water management systems
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new developments
- Develop comprehensive engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM modeling tools
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
- Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders for permit approvals and regulatory compliance
- Implement sustainable design practices and innovative construction methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project management
- PE (Professional Engineer) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with transportation planning and TxDOT regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex engineering challenges
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
