Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate complex electrical power systems using industry-standard modeling software (ETAP/SKM).
  • Oversee the development of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution plans for large-scale facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical components and prototypes.
  • Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA safety standards and local building codes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
  • Manage project lifecycles from conceptual design through to final field commissioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in power systems, industrial controls, or related fields.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Deep proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of power electronics, circuit protection, and grounding systems.
  • Proven ability to manage technical documentation and regulatory compliance submissions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead collaborative project teams.
