Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power systems and control circuitry.
- Perform advanced circuit simulations using SPICE, Altium, or equivalent design software.
- Oversee prototyping, debugging, and validation testing for hardware reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger mechanical architectures.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and UL safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews.
- Optimize system efficiency through rigorous thermal and electrical analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics or circuit design.
- Expertise in PCB design, schematic capture, and layout optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or C++ for automation/analysis.
- Deep understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and signal integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of launching successful hardware products.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license is highly preferred.
