Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and analysis of complex electrical power distribution systems.
- Perform comprehensive load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash studies using ETAP or SKM.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance and safety.
- Oversee the development of single-line diagrams, electrical specifications, and wiring schematics.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on multidisciplinary design projects.
- Implement advanced protection and control schemes for medium and high-voltage applications.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables adhere to NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in industrial or utility-scale power systems.
- Deep proficiency in power systems modeling software (ETAP, SKM, or similar).
- Comprehensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E.
- Proven ability to manage technical project timelines and cross-functional team communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills regarding power quality, grounding, and harmonic mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
