Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial facilities
- Conduct load flow analysis and short-circuit calculations using ETAP/PSS®E
- Develop electrical schematics and single-line diagrams per NEC/IEEE standards
- Lead commissioning and troubleshooting of medium-voltage switchgear
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules for electrical infrastructure projects
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power systems design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP/PSS®E simulation software
- Deep knowledge of NFPA 70E and IEEE 1547 standards
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
