Responsibilities
- Design and analyze complex power distribution systems for large-scale industrial projects.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics and blueprints using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to ensure adherence to NEC and IEEE standards.
- Perform comprehensive load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash analysis.
- Oversee on-site commissioning and testing to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with procurement and project management teams to meet critical project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in electrical power systems design.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in power system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower).
- Expert knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant building codes.
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
