Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems.
- Perform detailed load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and arc flash assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy solutions into existing grids.
- Oversee technical documentation, schematics, and project specifications in compliance with NEC/IEEE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight for project lifecycles from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct on-site testing and troubleshooting to ensure peak operational reliability.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of critical electrical components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM, or similar design and simulation software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
