Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the implementation of industrial-grade electrical power distribution systems.
- Conduct advanced technical analysis, including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources into legacy grid infrastructures.
- Develop detailed engineering specifications, schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee on-site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Ensure project compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Deep understanding of electrical safety protocols and high-voltage grid systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable engineering designs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations in technical environments.
