Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems for large-scale industrial projects.
- Perform detailed load analysis, short-circuit calculations, and protective device coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical and software teams to integrate robust electrical subsystems.
- Oversee electrical prototyping, testing, and validation phases to ensure compliance with NEC and IEEE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Manage project documentation, including single-line diagrams, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desired.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Deep understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE electrical safety standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and lead small project teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
