As a key member of our engineering division, you will lead complex electrical design projects from conception to deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve high-stakes challenges in power distribution, system automation, and efficiency optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate medium-voltage power distribution systems for large-scale industrial projects.
- Perform comprehensive load flow, short circuit, and arc flash studies using ETAP or SKM software.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineering staff to ensure compliance with NEC and IEEE standards.
- Develop detailed schematic diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Oversee on-site commissioning and troubleshooting activities to ensure seamless system integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in power systems design.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and power system modeling tools (ETAP/SKM).
- Deep technical knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of leading complex engineering projects.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
