Responsibilities
- Lead the design and validation of complex electrical power distribution systems for commercial and utility-scale projects.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics using advanced CAD tools.
- Conduct thorough power flow, short-circuit, and protective relay coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and software engineers, to integrate smart grid technology.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local building safety codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight during the project lifecycle.
- Perform field inspections and support commissioning activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering, specifically within renewable energy or utilities.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as ETAP, SKM, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage transmission, distribution equipment, and battery storage systems.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities in a collaborative team environment.
