Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems for large-scale industrial projects.
- Perform detailed load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis using ETAP or SKM software.
- Oversee electrical equipment procurement, including transformers, switchgear, and protective relays.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NESC standards across all engineering designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy storage systems into existing infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous peer reviews of technical documentation and schematics.
- Manage project lifecycles from concept and feasibility studies through to final site commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in electrical power systems design or industrial consulting.
- Expert-level proficiency with power systems modeling software (ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower).
- In-depth knowledge of grounding systems, surge protection, and protective relaying.
- Proven ability to manage technical project deliverables within strict budget and timeline constraints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
