Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex electrical distribution systems for large-scale utility projects.
- Perform comprehensive load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical and civil teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and local regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on project documentation.
- Conduct site visits to perform inspections, testing, and system commissioning.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, BOMs, and procurement documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in power systems engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, or similar power systems analysis software.
- Deep understanding of high-voltage transmission and distribution components.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects under strict timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder and client-facing requirements.
